Story Submission Terms
These terms apply to stories you send through Share your story. Drama Drama is operated by Muse Financial Technologies, Inc. (“Muse,” “we,” “us”). They add to our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Copyright and IP Policy and Privacy Policy; for your story, these terms take priority where they say something more specific.
1. Ownership
You keep ownership of your original submission. You may continue to tell, publish, or share your story elsewhere.
Submitting a story does not give you any ownership interest in the episodes, scripts, characters, artwork, videos, or other productions we create. Drama Drama retains the rights it holds in its original contributions and productions, subject to your rights in your original submission and any applicable third-party rights. You are not entitled to royalties, revenue sharing, or other payment unless we agree with you separately in writing.
This applies to the works we create from or inspired by your submission.
2. The license you give us
When you send a story you give Muse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to adapt, fictionalize and produce it, to create AI-generated scenes, episodes and other works inspired by it, to publish, distribute and promote those works in any media, and to commercialize them, including selling access to, licensing, and earning revenue from those works.
We may pass this license on only to the production and distribution providers we work with, and only as far as they need it to make, distribute or promote those works. The license is not exclusive and does not transfer ownership of your original submission.
3. No guarantee of selection, payment or credit
We read submissions but choose only some of them. Sending a story does not guarantee that we will review it in any particular time, select it, produce anything from it, pay you or credit you. Payment would only be owed under a separate written agreement.
Submitting a story is free, and if we select it, we produce the episode at no cost to you. This does not cover separate services, such as Drama Drama AI Tools or production credits.
4. Anonymous or credited
Anonymous is the default. If you choose to stay anonymous, we will not publicly name you as the source of a work. If you ask to be credited and we publish a work based mainly on your story, we will try to credit you with the name or handle you gave, where the format allows it.
We change names, roles, companies, places, timelines and other details to fictionalize stories, and we use reasonable efforts to keep published works from identifying you or the people in your story. We cannot guarantee that nobody will recognize events they were part of.
5. What you confirm
- The story is your own experience, or one you have the right to share.
- Sending it does not break a confidentiality agreement or reveal confidential business information or trade secrets.
- You have left out private or identifying details about other people (real names, contact details, health, financial or similarly sensitive information).
- It is not harassment, and it does not make accusations you know or suspect to be false.
We may decline, edit out or delete any part of a submission that does not meet these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. If you use an AI assistant to write it
The interview prompt is something you copy into an AI service you choose. That conversation is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy. Drama Drama does not receive it, and nothing is sent to us until you paste your story into our form and press Send.
7. No AI model training
We will not use your submission to train or fine-tune AI models without a separate agreement with you. Using AI tools to write, storyboard or generate the works described in section 2 is not training.
8. Withdrawal and deletion
You can ask us to withdraw and delete your submission by emailing hello@dramadrama.ai with the reference shown after you sent it. If we have not started adapting it, we delete it. If we have, we stop starting new works from it, but works already created, in production, published or licensed may continue to be used, distributed and promoted under section 2. We cannot recall copies that have already been distributed or shared by others.
Choosing anonymous decides whether we name you publicly; it does not make the submission anonymous to us. We do not ask for your name, but an email you add, or details in the story itself, may still identify you. Your reference is how we look up your submission, so keep it private; without it we may not be able to find your submission. A reference on its own does not prove that you sent the story: before acting on a request we may ask for reasonable information to check that it comes from you, proportionate to the request, and we will not show the story or any contact details to someone only because they have the reference.
9. Privacy and retention
What we receive. Your story; your email only if you add it; your attribution choice and, only if you choose credit, the name or handle you give; the version of these terms you accepted and the time we stored your submission; the page you sent it from; a reference code; a random key your browser creates so a retry is not stored twice; and a fingerprint (hash) of the content you sent, used for the same purpose. You do not need an account, a name or an email to send a story.
What we do not store with your story. We do not store your IP address with your submission. To limit abuse we keep a counter under a code made by hashing your network address together with the date and a secret key. The code is pseudonymous, not anonymous: we could compute it again for a known address. It is not linked to your submission and is meant to be kept for about a day; old counters are removed during later submissions and by a daily manual cleanup. No automated schedule enforces this. Our hosting provider keeps runtime logs of requests to our server functions, which can include your network address; on our current hosting plan these runtime logs are kept for about one day. We have not confirmed how long the provider keeps other request, network or security records.
Analytics. If you allowed analytics cookies, we count steps such as “form started” or “story sent” as described in our Privacy Policy. These events never contain your story, email or credit name. If you refused analytics, they are not sent.
How we use it and who receives it. We use your submission to review it and to create, publish and promote works under these terms, and your email only to follow up about your story (it does not join the creator waitlist). It is received by Muse and stored by the service providers that host the website and its database. If we select your story, the production and distribution providers described in section 2 may receive what they need.
How long we keep it. These periods were approved on October 23, 2026. They are our business choices for this program, not periods set by law.
| What | Period |
|---|---|
| Stories we have not selected (including stories we have not yet reviewed) | 12 months from when we receive them, then deleted |
| Stories we select | While we are producing or publishing works based on them, and up to 3 years after that work ends or we last use them, whichever is later |
| Your email and credit name | Removed when you ask, or as soon as we no longer need them for your story |
| Record of your consent (reference, terms version, time of acceptance, attribution choice; never your story or contact details) | 3 years after your submission is deleted or last used |
| Hosting provider runtime logs | About one day on our current hosting plan (other provider records: not yet confirmed) |
| Abuse-prevention counter | About one day (removed during later submissions and by a daily manual cleanup; no automated schedule enforces this) |
| Database backups | Our database provider keeps a short restore history; we have not yet confirmed how long deleted data can remain in it or in any other backup |
Your requests. To ask us to see, correct or delete your submission, remove your email or credit name, or withdraw it, email hello@dramadrama.ai with your reference (see section 8). We aim to complete requests within 30 days. We may keep the consent record described above where we need it to show what you agreed to or where the law requires it. You also have the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
If we change these terms, the new version applies only to stories sent after the change. We store the version you accepted with your submission.
11. Governing law and contact
The Governing law section of our Terms applies. Questions about these terms may be sent to hello@dramadrama.ai.
