What could your social audience earn on Drama Drama?

Start with the views your videos get on social media. Estimate how many viewers visit your Drama Drama page and pay for content or character chat. Nothing you type here is stored or sent anywhere.

What do you know best?

Use views on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook or X. These are not views on Drama Drama.

Used for the per-month estimate: monthly views = average views × videos per month.

Your assumption for how many visits your Drama Drama link receives relative to social-video views.

Refunds and fees

%

Estimated share of fan spending reversed by refunds or chargebacks.

More detail

Your estimate of fan spend reversed by refunds, chargebacks and payment reversals. It comes off before the split, and a refund and a chargeback on the same amount count once. What remains is Net Revenue, the eligible revenue base; transaction taxes are outside it.

%

Estimated payment-processing cost, deducted after your revenue share.

More detail

An estimate of the effective incoming payment-processing cost, deducted from the creator allocation after the split and only once. Actual creator earnings use the real processing cost of the underlying credit-pack payment, including any fixed component, allocated proportionally as those paid credits are spent; your percentage here stands in for it. There is no default: enter your own assumption.

$

Estimated provider fee for one monthly payout.

More detail

Your estimate, in the selected currency. Provider costs differ by payout method; Drama Drama deducts the provider’s actual cost, and the available payout method is confirmed at onboarding. Used in the per-month estimate only.

Other earning arrangements

Who produces the series?

Your own content: 80% of paid-content Net Revenue and 50% of character chat Net Revenue are allocated to you, before separately deducted payment-processing and payout fees.

Producing independently with Studio, including through a Creator Launch bonus, uses the standard creator-provided content terms. Co-production requires a separate agreement.

Scenario only. It does not mean you qualify. Zero content commission for 90 days on eligible creator-provided episode and series unlocks; payment-processing and payout fees still apply. Character chat stays at 50%. How the referral program works.

How the estimate works

The calculator follows the money in the order Drama Drama applies it: social-media views → visits to Drama Drama → buyers → fan spending → refunds and chargebacks → Net Revenue → creator allocation → payment-processing cost → earnings before payout fees, and per month → US$10 minimum → 1% payout service fee → payout-provider cost → estimated amount received. It starts from views rather than followers because two accounts with the same follower count can have very different reach. If you only know your follower count, you enter your own estimate of the share of followers who watch an average video, and the calculator uses the modeled views.

  1. Social-media views. Per video, the estimate uses your average social-media views. Per month, it multiplies average views by the number of social videos that link to Drama Drama each month. If you post on several platforms, use one consistent basis for the average and the posting count, and do not multiply a combined view total again by the number of platforms. Views and estimated visits are not verified unique people: one person can watch several times.
  2. Estimated visits = social-media views × your estimated visit rate.
  3. Paid-content buyers = visits × your estimated paid-content share. Paid-content spending = buyers × your price per item × paid items per buyer.
  4. Paying chat users = visits × your estimated character chat share. Chat spending = paying users × average spend per paying fan. Buyers and chat users are estimates, not observed people, and the two groups can overlap.
  5. Net Revenue = gross fan spend minus the refunds-and-chargebacks percentage you enter. This is the eligible revenue base; transaction taxes are excluded from it.
  6. Creator allocation = Net Revenue × the creator share, applied first: 80% of gated Net Revenue and 50% of Live AI Chat Net Revenue for creator-provided content, or 40% of all Net Revenue in a co-production. What remains is Drama Drama's content commission.
  7. Earnings before payout fees = creator allocation − the estimated payment-processing cost, which you enter as one percentage of Net Revenue. It is deducted after the split and only once. This is the per-video result: payout fees belong to a payout, not to each video.
  8. One monthly payout (per month only). If the month's earnings before payout fees reach US$10, the calculator models one monthly payout: Drama Drama's 1% payout service fee on the amount being paid out, then your estimated payout-provider cost, giving the estimated amount received. Below US$10, nothing is paid that month and the balance carries forward.

Current creator terms

Percentages show the creator allocation before separately deducted payment-processing and payout fees. Co-production terms take precedence over the standard creator-provided split and over the referral reward.

The co-production split is different because Drama Drama contributes writing, production and production costs. Tips (digital gifts) and personalized requests are not modeled in this first version of the calculator, although their shares are published above.

How fees work

Three fee components are kept separate. First, the creator allocation is calculated on the eligible revenue base: Net Revenue × the creator share. Then the attributable incoming payment-processing cost is deducted from that allocation, giving earnings before payout fees. At payout, Drama Drama charges a 1% payout service fee on the amount being paid out, and the payout provider's actual cost is deducted in addition.

Illustrative calculation, using test assumptions rather than provider pricing: an eligible revenue base of $100, a $3 attributable processing cost and a $0.25 payout-provider cost, with everything cleared and included in one payout.

  • Standard creator-provided paid content: $100 × 80% = $80 creator allocation; $80 − $3 = $77 before payout fees; $77 × 1% = $0.77 Drama Drama payout service fee; $77 − $0.77 − $0.25 = $75.98 sent.
  • Eligible content during the referral reward: $100 × 100% = $100 creator allocation; $100 − $3 = $97 before payout fees; $97 × 1% = $0.97 Drama Drama payout service fee; $97 − $0.97 − $0.25 = $95.78 sent.

The $3 and $0.25 values are test assumptions, not approved provider rates.

Fan credits

The current model is 100 credits for US$1, with US$5, US$10, US$15 and US$20 packs. Creator earnings are recognized when fans spend paid credits on content or experiences, not when a pack is purchased. The credit model may evolve. Fan credits are separate from the production credits used to generate images and video.

A paid episode unlock and a full-series unlock each last 30 days from the unlock, not from the credit purchase. A full-series unlock includes new episodes added to that same series during the active period; adding an episode does not extend the original expiry. If a creator removes an episode or series from sale, new purchases stop and existing buyers keep access until their own period ends.

Payouts

Payouts are monthly, once eligible cleared earnings reach US$10 measured before payout fees. Smaller balances carry forward. Each payout carries the 1% Drama Drama payout service fee plus the actual payout-provider cost. Stripe and stablecoin payouts are offered where supported; the available method is confirmed during onboarding.

What Net Revenue means

Net Revenue is the eligible revenue base: fan spend attributable to the content or experience, excluding transaction taxes and adjusted for refunds, chargebacks and payment reversals, with a refund and a chargeback that reverse the same amount counted once. Incoming payment-processing costs and payout fees are not part of this definition; they are deducted separately afterwards, in the order shown above.

About the assumptions

Drama Drama does not publish conversion benchmarks or provider rates. Every conversion rate, price, spend figure and fee estimate in the calculator is your own input. The illustrative example loads editable values so you can see how the model works; it is not an earnings benchmark and should not be read as typical results.
