Can I publish content made with other tools?
Yes. Our AI tools are optional. Bring your content and audience to Drama Drama.
Do I keep ownership of my content?
Yes. Standard publishing on Drama Drama does not transfer ownership of your content. You keep the rights you own in your existing work and content you fund yourself, including work made using production credits you purchase. Any co-ownership of newly co-produced episodes or assets requires a separate signed agreement.
Can I publish my content on other platforms?
Yes. Standard publishing is non-exclusive, so you can publish content you wholly own elsewhere. We recommend using free content on social platforms to build an audience for paid episodes on Drama Drama, but this is a recommendation, not a restriction. Distribution of co-produced material is governed by its separate signed agreement.
How do I get my starting credits?
Once approved, request your free production bonus. Our team confirms access and allocates the credits.
Can I buy more production credits?
Yes. See our AI tools pricing, then request the pack you need. Production credits are separate from the credits your fans spend.
Do bonuses mean co-production?
No. Buying production credits, using our tools, or receiving starting and milestone bonuses does not itself create a co-production or change standard revenue terms. Co-production requires a separate agreement signed by both parties.
What changes if we co-produce a project?
Our co-production model gives you 40% and Drama Drama 60% ownership of the newly co-produced episodes and assets identified in a separate signed agreement. The same revenue split applies to the covered content and associated AI-character and interactive experiences, with applicable payment-processing and payout fees. Underlying IP stays with the party that brought it: yours remains yours, and ours remains ours. Ownership of underlying IP created together is agreed separately.
Who distributes co-produced content?
Under the separate signed agreement, Drama Drama is the distributor and sales agent for the covered material, with a perpetual distribution mandate. Distribution can include other digital platforms, television, cinema, airlines, podcast networks and agreed AI-character experiences. The agreement defines the covered rights, permitted uses and limits. This mandate does not apply to standard self-published content.
How are co-production costs and timelines decided?
Before production begins, we agree the scope, budget, each party’s responsibilities and the schedule. Drama Drama covers the agreed AI production costs for a supported project. Credit budgets, episode counts and delivery dates are defined for each project, not promised automatically.
What share do I earn?
For your own paid episodes and series, you receive 80% of Net Revenue before payment-processing and payout fees. Other experiences and co-productions have their own rates. See the full earnings terms.
How do payouts work?
Cleared earnings are paid monthly, manually by bank transfer or wire, once they reach $10 before payout fees. See payout details, including the 1% service fee and provider cost.
Can agencies manage several creators or series?
Yes. Agencies can manage several creators, characters and series under one organization.
Do I need the rights to what I monetize?
Yes. You need the rights or permissions for the characters, likenesses, voices and content you bring. See our acceptable use policy.
